12,000 miles on my firefly, bring it back to it's maker - get a refinish, get a panel put on the downtube and seat tube, Tyler and co do a sick treatment with a fade to my family names on the top tube. 12k and the bike looks brand spanking new.

As I've said before, cranks show she aint no garage queen. The firefly crew rocks it, click on through to flickr for more details.

That looks awesome. It's FF's race bikes that made me want one - your's would be on that list.

Firefly nailed it. Feels like a roadbike with huge tires.

I had Dustin (Southern Wheelworks) build up a set of I9 hubs with Nox 36AD rims. Tires are Compass Bon Jon Pass 35s but probably measure a tad bigger. I'm curious to try Schwalbe One 28s on them though, maybe next week, to see how that changes that feel of the bike.

LOL, you're a good 30lbs lighter than my average customer! 24 spokes per wheel mean you're fairly light!

Aesthetically, that's almost enough to change my mind about disc road bikes. Almost.

I'm looking forward to hearing the comparison of those two tires. Those will be my 'skinny' tire setup.
