This is a color you only appreciate if you have 6 other bikes ;) I think it will come out pretty stunning.

Festka around the village tour, compliments! as you know I was afraid to ride a peng peng bike = too hard.... it behaves great, dynamic, fast, agile, light, stiff, but not TOO hard like this superstiff race machines!

I think it looks great. Reminds me of a pinata for some reason.

Stefan congrats. That's a sweet bike. Love the paint scheme and the colors. Ride the hell out of it.

You checked the specs of the Festka Zero model (the one I currently own). It was made out of special tubes : a small and a bigger tube sandwiched with honeycomb in the middle. It was supposed to be much safer than a traditionnal carbon tube in case of a crash allowing the cyclist to ride home even with a visible damage on the carbon tube. Of course I didn't test that feature. ;-) That said, although the whole bike is slightly heavier than my mate's Giant Propel, I had never considered my Festka Zero to be heavy. It just rides very well, feel very secure and agile in the descents, doesn't make me suffer on long rides and is stiff enough for me.

Stefan's Festka One is supposed to be much lighter (in the 1kg area). They make the one in 3 versions, normal, LT (lighter) and RS (stiffer, beefier). And the Weight weenies can still choose to order the frame without paint.

OK good to know. 1300g for a carbon frame sounds like the 90's though.

Do you know where they get their carbon tubes or are they doing it themselves ?
