this oversized steel feels definitely better than my Continental Festka, ok.... one has to be fair, my Continental has a sofa geometry. its long and not very dynamic, but like a sofa.
all depends what one wants. this baby blue machine is pretty dynamic and responsive, geometry wise similar to my great feeling Ti_Carbon, the Firefly is stiffer, this Festka is stiff enough and maybe a bit more comfortable. did only a short ride, but if still then maybe oversized.

How's the 2015 Campagnolo stuff? All the fuss over the crank's aesthetics are misplaced IMHO. I saw a Super Record groupset yesterday at a shop installed on a Willier and it looks really nice in person.

    Any change in functionality? Shifting?

Stefan, that's another great looking bike. You are doing a yeoman's job for Festka. It is sometimes really hard for Czech companies to be taken seriously in the rest of Europe. There are always certain national reputations, both earned and unearned I suppose, that make it difficult. I know they are happy about all the photos you've taken of your bikes. They told my friend Janek that they see the inquiries come in after you post photos. I am sure that Janek is trying to figure out how he is going to get a Festka for his next bike after visiting their shop.

that the old Super Record, the new one was damaged by Fedex. Festka boys should have taken it away and put it inside the chain stays.

John, ;) I really wish they make their way, they are great young people, full of positive energy and ideas, and build nice bikes.

    Excellent paint.

    Which fork is that?

Could this possibly be a 55 and fit me nicely when you are finished?

    Smile Re: Festka

Aaaaargh! Such a tease; this looks almost identical to the frame I have in production by another builder, awaiting the arrival of a headtube from Columbus (their 44mm tube), even using the same fork and stem combo. Needless to say, I'm loving this frame

I saw this bike on rennrad magazine (with campa bora wheels)... I love it and the proportions are perfect !
What are the diameters of the top tube and Down tube ? And is top tube round ?

Saw this lot emerging from their wrappers the other day: Team Festka Australia on Instagram - VERY tasty paint.
