I think their take on the wishbone stay is nice - angular, edgy and perhaps a little agricultural, but more unique for it.

^ My thoughts exactly, could not have said it better myself. Especially the agricultural part... :D

I almost chose the Xcr Modern because of its simple and elegant lines, but titanium as material won and the shape of the frame is something you could recognize without any paint and logos.

And rarely, for this forum, both Sydney-owned bikes.

I was hoping it would look good in the metal, but you're not giving me any confidence :)

That's their new carbon & Ti frame, right? Looks great.

Yours, or just a test bike?

its not mine, Ondrej asked me if I want to ride it some weeks. have to say it looks very vey good, some things could be done a little "cleaner", but this is the first one, they built it for themselves.
the break between polished and not polished titan parts look wow! tomorrow chain and tape, lets see how it rides...

Don't forget to install the pedals too! Just kidding, can't wait to hear your riding impressions.

How does the ride compare to your FF carbon-ti? The polished details are nice, I know what I'll do if I ever have my frame refinished ;)

I *really* like that - although, I'll be honest, I can't help wondering whether there is any justified reason for Ti tubes and carbon joins other than to do 'the carbon-Ti thing' differently from others? Regardless, I'm sure it doesn't result in a bad bike, plus it means it keeps that lovely angular wishbone and those delicious Ti dropouts.

    Curious: How's the new Regal?

overall the Doppler is a very stiff bike, it feels good, absorbs unregularyties of tarmac nice, but I want to be sincere, the Firefly Ti-Carbon does that job better, more comfortable, but it is also less stiff. also I have the feeling that the fork is maybe a very hard one, the Enve fork on ONE and Ti-Carbon feels far better.

the bike is very very beautiful from close... personally I don't care about why and because, I have to feel it when riding.... ;)

the Regal is great, could be just a little flatter for my back, its a bit too round for me, but very good if you can handle that. I feel a bit better on the Flite.

What is the original fork ? THM ?

I'm always wary of them german ultralight components, the ride is often deceiving.

yes THM, if you want a ULTRA stiff front end, thats maybe the fork, every single hole in tarmac direct into your arms!
