Hi, I bought the frame NOS from BikeNook in SF. I don't know how old this frame is but the serial number is 9016. 1999 16th frame? That will make it 11 years old!

The interesting part is some of the details still the same as yours, dropout, seat lug.

I like mine a lot and looking forward to get my new one.

Wow that bike looks amazing esp considering it's 20 years old, I have a Della Santa from the 70's as well, it still looks and feels great in fact I rode it on the trainer today before work (and then biked to work on my MTB bike).

Are you in the queue right now??

I was told mine is at the painter now. Keep in mind the painter also work during the race season, that could mean some delay as well.

I sent brakes, fenders and the racks I plan on using and Roland took care the rest.

BTW, if you want to see other pictures of DS, try these links.

Oh yes mine was at the painters for some time, hopefully you have it soon though - what color?

Accinson that is beautiful, how tall are you?

I should post my old girl here seeing as how it is the gallery (she looks a bit differrent now I need to update her photo).
It doesn't fit me great as the TT is too long but for meandering about it's fine.

HaHa, don't be sorry, it works. Reason for asking because I have a Chorus carbon post as well, just wondering will it work with a steel frame like DS.

The color will be Ornage with white panels. Most folks have orange with blue but just want something different. Moreover, I have a few jersey that works with that orange. Will post picture when I get the bike ready

She has had it since August 09. I guess maybe 1500 or so. She alternates between the DS and her Pinarello. Likes the DS for longer tempo rides, and the F3 for shorter, faster rides.

Pick this up used from a local DS collector. Currently mostly DA 9 speed with downtube shifters for a change from my usual Campy 10s.

OK, I'm really digging Della Santa's work and am considering a frame. I was wondering if there is a way to get in touch with him besides the P.O. Box on this website or is this the way he starts communication? Thanks.
