    Nice chatting last night.

Hope you continue to heal quickly and w/o too many challenges.

    Love your De Rosas.

Always a pleasure Grady...I'm not sure why I don't come here much, it's a great forum.

My much cherished King 3. My favorite one for most everything. I have never felt like upgrading from this bike.. just the motor:

    derosa-7-12.jpg
    rist7-11_01.jpg
    derosa-nemesis-16.jpg

It's hard to cram a whole review in here. I will say the bike is a well-behaved 'all-arounder'.

Good to you all day long and stable in a straight line, but still stiff/snappy and on the right day a mean weapon for descending crazy technical and bumpy stuff. When I'm terrified hauling ass into a turn that I can't see my way out of, the bike says: 'Get off the brakes you fool.. I know what to do even when you don't..'

There is a magic De Rosa thing IMO...

I purchased this from longlegged around six months ago. derosa.jpg My first real race bike was a De Rosa Giro d' Italia from the 90s in Gewiss-Ballan colors. I loved that bike. It survived at least two pretty nasty crashes before it had to be retired. I've been waiting years to get another steel De Rosa. Finally! This isn't being raced though. Its the pleasure ride bike. I have other steeds that can be thrown into the hungry maw of the crit race. This one is my Sunday ride. Smooth as buttah.

Love seeing a non-black or red bike. Nicely appointed. I heartily approve of what I think are steel cages on a steel bike. Enjoy!

Great looking bike, domesgique. In the last few months a few derosas have started appearing in the regular weekend group. A couple King 3 RS, a Protos, and an older steel job. The steel one really stands out among all the carbon in the group. Not that the other ones aren't killer looking...and all of them rave about the ride compared to anything else they've ridden.

I have owned a 35th anniversario for some time. Serial # 003, which I have heard was the show bike at the LA bike show back in 88 or 89. Pristine shape, 9.5/10...size 58. I am thinking about selling it, so I guess this may be considered a feeler...

If it's a 54 hold onto it for a bit. I'm short on cash for bikes at the moment. Would love one.

Thanks! Aside from looking sharp, I love how a De Rosa handles, especially downhill. For a non-custom bike, its amazing.

I love the Corum. All of them are made by Doriano DeRosa. It is a rare custom bike that behaves as well as a DeRosa.

Speaking of a 54cm De Rosa 35th, It's not in my hands yet...but soon. I have the brakes (currently on a Merckx, don't ask why), but the stem is probably a lost cause.

Still loving this bike. I've got about 30000km on it, mostly in beautiful places in Colorado.

Love seeing De Rosas out in the wild. Don't think I've ever seen a King though, and certainly not one as pretty as that! Great bikes
