Yep, OT crank on PF30. It's still spinning. No squeaks or thrust play yet, but it's quite new still and central FL has been HOT.

The bike has been A DREAM to ride. Yet another keeper along with the Colnago, Ouellette, and Moots.

Yes, Campy OT BB system with ceramic bearings. I haven't seen another OT crank/BB in the wild yet but I haven't really looked either. Just glad I don't use a wave washer, Hirth joints, and lord knows what else to make a crappy crank design work.

Thanks. Was considering whether to try PF/BB30 for my next frame and the prices i've seen for the Campy OT BB system is jaw droppingly scary....

I've a couple months on an OT Pf30 setup and can say that it's soooooo muchbetter than using adaptors and wavy washers and hirsch joints etc........ only thing to add is to ensure that Torque settings are adhered to.

No issues yet. I went from square taper to this. Last new bike was a 2003 Moots VaMoots with Record 10, so the soft clicking 11 speed Ergopower and compact bars are a big change for me. No weird creaks or rattles yet, this bike is smooth!

Wow, I looked, checked and looked again, you didn't miss any light weight add ons, even your wheels are "Lightweights"!
Sweet, they should have tied that thing down to keep it from taking flight.
    Would live to ride it.
Curious, with 700g frames out there from the big three with complete builds running about $5,420 (Cannondale Suoersix EVO Hi-MOD 2), how much does a Crumpton frame weight?
Slick ride Coppercook62, more pic when you get it please.

You probably should ask him. We never really talked about frame weight. I will when i get it.

Those cables probably account for 30% of the total weight.

All in all - this is an awesome looking bike and build.

Please let us know the first time some Fred grabs your bike and lifts it up to check the weight.

Pfft. I'm only a partial fred and would totally grab that bike to check the weight.

With Nick's bikes, some Fred has to reach up and pull them down the check the weight.

    Wrong question, dude.
This is my substitute for pistol and ball. With a philosophical flourish Cato throws himself upon his sword; I quietly take to the bike.
