Such a balanced bike... Apart from the shitty Acros headset this thing's perfect. Sooner or later I'm gonna sort that with a normal headset and expander bung.

Those Boyd wheels are getting pretty popular. I know a few guys who own them and they are very happy with their purchase.

    Nice ride, Beetnik!

Balanced is a great way to describe it...

I'm jealous of your gloss coat finish. I need to strip mine and do the same, the matte is impossible to keep clean.

    Beautiful bike!

Got a team discount from a local wheelbuilder so even with the red WI hubs, they're 60% less expensive than comparable ENVEs or Zipps. Great price with a great ride and great look. Boyd, I like your style. It's great!

Colnago C50 MKII just back from getting some new color! It came out beautiful and the detail is excellent. It was originally done in the ST03 colorway pictured on top. 57cm traditional. 3T ARXII Pro -17 stem with Colnago logo and clover to match. This is the original Mapei colorway before going to the lighter white paint around the tube clusters.

It was Allan Wanta. Highly recommended. He also painted one of the other bikes I picked up.

Happy Colnago New Year for 2018!

This is Woodstock, the sweetest ride I've owned. My armchair is yellow........... as you can see!

Thanks. This was the most satisfying build of the 5 road builds I've done. The (copper) bell was Eric Estlund's idea - he made the stem for me and persuaded me to allow for a threaded bell lug on the stem. It's copper in aid of matching the other minor copper finish pieces such as the bar ends, biddon cage buttons and I have a pair of copper MKS platform pedals for when I ride Woodstock (very) socially............

Here is the EP that I have had for the last few years. Original build with 10s Di2, followed by current setup with Campagnolo EPS.

    Fantastico!

    Brillante e belissimo!

I do prefer the black hoods of the EPS build.

Can you post some close ups of where and what angles you have drilled into the frame please? I'd always considered my EPS frame a candidate for retro fitting Campag EPS........

Here you go. Sorry the pics show up so huge - I have no idea how to change that.

I didn't have the guts to try drilling out the chainstay - it just didn't seem like a good idea to try to run the cable for the RD thru it. So I have that cable attached to the underside of the chainstay.
