For many years I lusted for and owned Italian motorcycles, but I got over it and sold them all. Now this! Can anyone identify the year of this Master color scheme? I think I may have to have one...

From memory the paint code is PR08. The frame in RIDE was 1,799g for a 56cm.

While there were running changes between the Master Olympic and X-Light that saved a gram or two (such as the switch to vertical dropouts), the X-Light name was more of a marketing thing. Colnago couldn't use the Olympic name any more (thank you, IOC), and calling a lovely-but-portly steel frame "light" makes it more appealing.
