Chris is building, and the wait time in comparison to many other builders is not bad- I can't speak for him but from what he's told me I'd guess maybe 9 months delivery. Give him a call......

    I was astounded yesterday!

I saw three Kvales on my commute into work.

Even living in the Twin Cities doesn't guarantee a Chris Kvale sighting, so it was a banner day.

Two were fixed and one was decked with SR 11.

This shot can be considered a before pic. I do not think this bike deserves to be used as a single speed mountain bike.... More to come!

I spoke to Chris and he agreed to build a frame set to replace the one I sold on this forum in 2016. It was amazing that he remembered me and still had his drawing of my old frame.

It will be a shorter reach and taller stack this time around, but as beautiful as a Kvale always has been. Chris indicated he has some personal business to attend to and won't be able to start until March/April, but my deposit has been received and I should see the frame in time for summer 2020 riding. I've been saving a set of Silver Record hubs and NOS Ambrosio Nemesis tubular rims for this type of project, so we'll start with that and probably add a modern Campy Record 12 group.

More details and pictures when I have some!

My hands just struggle with that bend and hoods placement - they sure do look great though.
