I think the Baum Website explains the differences pretty well.

Well, after a failed Pegoretti attempt and a winter bike that's brought on a recurrence of my shoulder problem, I think I might be about to pull the trigger on Baum #2...

Why, as a winter bike ? Or....?
Why not just ride your baum year round? It's ti--can't you just throw some winter wheels on and ad some clip on fenders/mudguards?

    Just because, frankly!

My Corretto is too precious to me to be my only bike (not to mention not wanting to damage the paint in a UK winter), and what better second bike than one that fits me every bit as perfectly as my best bike does?!

    Do you have two bikes?...

Aren't questions like "Why buy another bike?" just rhetorical here? ;-)

Should be interesting to see if you're satisfied with it! It definately keeps me interested seeing all the changes. I thought i changed my mind a fair bit re: bike set up but
you take it to a different level :)
BTW: this is not meant as a criticism so hope your not offended by my comment!
    cheers

Great looking bike! May I ask what frame size and head tube length it is? Also, did you get the standard size tubing or oversized tubing?
    Beautiful!
    Thanks

    Thanks G!

I believe the Corretto only comes with oversize tubing, but I might be wrong...

The bike is full custom, so the top tube is 55.5cm whilst the head tube is 19cm - I need the long head tube because my saddle height is 79cm, and even with the 19cm head tube I still have a 9cm saddle-to-bar drop, and that's with a lower bottom bracket than normal too!

The Tube set diameters depend on rider preferences and weight.

What a hotrod of a bike, very cool build, I dig the soldiered cables ends. I have never seen moto brakes on a road bike before only on cx.

Hmmm...too bad ti is out of fashion and too boring to use for a real performance bike nowadays.

    How we suffer.

This will eventually be matte grey, gloss grey, black and orange...sneak peak from AC tonight! Won't be long now... :)

That's obscene. I dig black and orange. Especially that, which looks to be more of a copper orange. Wow.

Just missing a bolt for the BB cable guide then it will be complete (and I can take some decent pics):

    Like the head badge though...
