Sorry to hog this thread, but I've cracked under the peer pressure - my spare Arundel Mandible cages just slipped onto it!

    Verdict?:

(and yes, currently running a 7900 chainset after deciding power wasn't for me, and my Lightweights cracked so they're currently away for repair!)

I don't know how the Lightweights cracked - Carbon Sports say it's not a warranty issue but I honestly don't think I did it. They are at least covering the repair cost, which is something.

I got my Ristretto earlier this summer, but I guess I never posted any pictures. I absolutely love the bike. Very solid and responsive. Plenty light, but still feels like steel. It's modern steel at it's finest. I think the paint is pretty sexy too!

Happened across a set of Cosmic Carbone SLRs today - look as good as the Lightweights at less than half the price:

Ok so they're 400g heavier, but I kinda wish I'd just gone for these in the first place!

How did I miss this one Steve? I was actually thinking the other day to flick you an email to see if you have your Ristretto GTR TAG all built up. Looks awesome and a build spec which ties in beautifully with the frame set colors.

We have another one almost the same headed your way albeit with Venom Green replacing the Chrome Orange.

    Cheers,

    Jared

Looks awesome Steve! I think I might have had a look at your bike when it was in the factory... It has come together very well! Wait for my next incarnation of my bike... Pictures very soon I hope!

I bet that Venom Green will be hot! Be sure to post some pictures. The bright colors really pop against the grey and the grey is a nice complement to the black components. I'm loving the bike. Of my three road bikes, this one is getting 75% of the miles.

Thanks to all you guys for the nice comments!

Me too! My problem is too many bikes though and not enough money! So I gotta figure out what to sell first and I'm not real excited about selling any of them.

Lightweights back, new Tune Smartfoot cranks, back for a stint on the Tune Speedneedle saddle and some sunshine to show off that purple...

God damn I love this bike...

Crikey! I have to admit, I'd never heard of Baum before a few weeks ago... I've gone through this thread with my jaw on the floor. Their website doesn't play well with my laptop, so I may end up asking some stupid questions down the line. Keep the pictures coming! Rich, how often to you change the setups on your bikes?!

I'm sure both Todd and I can answer most of the questions you might have, and the Baum guys often pop up around these parts too. They truly are awesome machines - so much so that my second bike just does not get used now and I'm having to change that for something that vies for my attention a little more!

Erm, yeah, bad habit...! I've been trying to get the Baum looking 'just right' - I think the Tune cranks with the black chain has finally achieved that. Expect more saddle changes though!

I was just recently looking a Baum's website and now the pictures here...I must say that these are some of the best looking bikes I've seen. The paint schemes are fairly simple with a modern flair that look fabulous! So what can you guys tell me about the differences in the three Ti models?
