    Default 333Fab

    Bike by Max at 333Fab.

Simply awesome. It amazes me whenever I ride it. Smooth, but fast. On descents, the best way to describe it is effortless.... Just lean one way or the other and it carves through the corners. Working with Max was fantastic. He nailed the fit and was very communicative.

Thought I'd share pics of my 333fab gravel/commuter bike - perfect for riding the wet and dirty roads of the Pacific Northwest.
You don't see many of these around, but I think big things are on their way!

I have spent hours on that website.

That frameset is so cool in so many ways. It explores a style of cycling I know so little about, dynamo lights, racks, low trail...

I'm still a couple months out from receiving my frame, but I just want to give a shout out to Max for his helpfulness and responsiveness thus far. I'm super psyched about this one - it fits squarely into my riding style these days: lots of commuting, dirt, and tugging the child trailer around. And still able to handle the occasional cross race should I ever have time to do so again. (I'm getting the Enve fork, not the steel one...)

And the paint/art look amazing to this lapsed painter who only really has time for snippets of photography these days. Makes me appreciate the people who have a real sense of originality- creating from scratch rather than capturing what's already there. I hope Max and Co. sell a ton of these things.

I have one Seattle property in my portfolio at work, and need to parlay it into a visit to 333Fab at some point.

Looking forward to seeing pictures of these bikes come late October. I wonder if each frame will be slightly different in terms of artwork placement.

Really close to pulling the trigger on one of these as I just moved to Bainbridge Island and this bike seems tailor made for cutting through the network of trails, getting to the ferry, exploring the parks etc., etc. Talked to Max yesterday and he says that some of the art will always be in the same place - the squid on the down tube for instance, but the painter has license to play around with others and each will therefore be slightly different.

Did you end up ordering a frame-set? Looking over the numbers, it looks to be a solid deal for a stock geometry, handmade frame with Enve fork and King headset. I seriously considered one for a good couple of weeks.

Yep, going whole hog so to speak - will use most of Max's build kit with Sram 1x, nitto cockpit, WI cranks etc. One the fence on wheels and which lighting system I'll use (leaning towards SP Dyno and Schmidt/Compass light combo). Process has been great so far - feels more like a full on custom job rather than stock (helps that the numbers on the XL are really close to a few bills that fit me very well.

That is great news Greg, I can't wait to see the final product.

I saw "limited edition" and I almost went blind, even had the deposit in my cart. I talked to Max and we decided to go a slightly different direction, something with a little more grey.

    Nice!
I'd have loved to order a complete, but went with just the frameset since most of my cx bike components are in good shape and will migrate over no problem (crank excepted.) Looking forward to seeing other builds.

Grey as in Ti? That was where I was leaning but this seems like a cool project and in the XL size Max is using Pego-Richie tubes so it should be a very nice steel steed.

Yeah, it will be a straight gauge, flat mount, thru axle, parlee forked, bead blasted goodness. A present to myself for working a long half decade abroad!

I just noticed that too. I did tell him that i am a 135 pounder who loves sprinting wicked hard and climbing out of the saddle. Some have called my climbing style a slower poor manís contador. I mentioned that I hate noodly bikes.
