Default 2018 Condor Classico Oh Behave!!

Condor...I was hoping to order this frame many months ago but the size I wanted was out of stock. I got a notice from Condor they were available and within a week I had my Frame from London. Condor is amazing to work with and the ride is awesome and the graphics are amazing. I now have a bike to go with my Rapha Condor jersey and t shirt. Hope you enjoy. My earliest inspiration to cycling was the Raleigh Professional and it was was my first British bike. I saw it at a shop in the town where I went to college and fell in love in 1976. this one is a 1978. It is original but I replaced the bar/stem and saddle. I still have those original parts.

I so wanted a copper plated Condor back in the day, a friend had one and it shined like a new penny.

I was at Condor Cycles just before Christmas, i usually drop in there when i'm in London, it's a cool shop.
They had a number of purple lugged fixies in the classic collection too, great looking bikes.

To be fair, we never really stopped doing them. The tubing is updated (Deda SAT) but the guys in Italy have always been doing since 2006, before that time it was done by Dave Yates or other british builders.
It's a very balanced frame, as nippy as you want it, but not too aggressive. Level top tube only

Those are slightly different, we grabbed some Columbus SLX sets and made a limited series of track frames, they were on show at Herne Hill on a cracking celebration day

    * edit: did you came down to the workshop to say Hello? *

My Sunday cycling buddy has at least 4 Condor frames (2 Ti and 2 steel I think) plus a Paris Galibier he had made from new and built up last year. Condor has the rights to build these now.

I must grab a picture of the Galibier as its pretty unusual.

Having worked for a while now near to the Condor shop on the Grays Inn Rd, I really fancy a Condor Classico Stainless, but for the time being I have this Italia RC. Alu frame and as nice as ride as anything else I have ridden.

I totally spaced on that, didn't cross my mind at the time.
I'll be back in December, and if i stop by the shop,
make sure to see if you're working!

I remember being transfixed by a full aluminum MTB dressed in OR campagnolo at the Concor Cycles window. South London maybe? I would stop for chains and stuff and the shop was crowded w/ couriers riding fixed gears. That was the summer of 1990.
I came here for the socks.
