    Default Silkscreening on tires??

    Ok V-saloners, serious question here.
I need to find some one , or a business that can " silkscreen " or whatever on tires.
I know this can be done, but, many internet searches later I am still questioning it all.
Any hints, tips, know anybody who can do this??
    Yes its for the NAHBS.
    Yes it is important.
Yes I am bummed I could not find a "real" answer even using google.
I might be doing it wrong, but I need to get this done.
    Any help is welcome.
    thanks !!

    Eric,

What is the size of the graphic and is it intended to be on the sidewall?

Can you provide the graphic in a vector file?

If so, I may have a place for you. Much will be dependent on surface area printing parameters and the desired durability.

The factory labels are hot stamps, not printed directly onto the tire. Printed then heat transferred.

Screenprinting a tire would be a PITA.

I would also recommend looking into finding somebody who can pad print, not screen print. Think of an old school rubber stamp that is precise and can do several colors if needed with multiple applications. This can be done on rubber, textiles, EVA foam, metal, plastic, etc..

Order up some Bridgestones, dude. Printed Tires Are The Next Generation Of White Walls

Seriously though, I had to print Target logos on some basketballs years ago. I have a sleazy prop guy solution for you, but durability will be an issue. Call me tomorrow. Been meaning to stop by for a sneak peek anyway.

When I worked in the boat shop I believe the paints we used for the boats were Gaco brand - this WAS years ago - but, we had the idea to paint our tires & it out lasted the tires, it just would not come off.
