Snark was in the thread title.
And come on. 55 million people live in the Northeast. Scores of excellent builders. That should matter.
My criteria were chosen to highlight the large area of the country that seems to have been written off as a location for the show.
If it was lost on you that this is all a little tongue in cheek, well...carry on.
Perhaps holding the show outside of a traditional convention center is the answer. Two years back the OR show was done in a shipyard. Pretty cool venue with heavy industry all around. Granted these venues aren't going to be in the city center where all of the nightlife is but it could be a worthwhile tradeoff. I know as a show go-er and potential exhibitor I'd much rather be there than in some typical convention center.
Salt Lake and Ogden should be given some consideration to hosting the event as well. So much of the bike and greater outdoor industry is there. There's a thousand attendees right there. Not sure how many builders are in the area, but it's within driving distance of NorCal and OR. If you have the show in Feb, you should bring some skis though. It wouldn't kill you to spend a weekend off your bike.
I think you've got ballars ride confused with NAMBLA
Ballers and NAMBLA in the same sentence? <shudder>.
Well I'll get to see first hand in March, just sent Don some scratch
