Steve - This road bike is the bees knees. Was it a one-off or would you make one of these for other customers?

Yes, of course - no problem.
Building a bike with all straight tubes is very refreshing fron time to time!
That bike was a pleasure to build, it may have all been Kaisei if I remember, which is a dream to work with.
You want one?
You let me know, Guy.

Re: Coconino Cycles
I still long so much for a Ritchey WCS-tubed 55.5cm top-tubed Coconino road frame with a sloping Ritchey fork crown in a deep sparkly blue.

Kind of doubt it, what with mortgages & all.
I just don't want to go back to the days where I was dropped off with $20 to my name, and I don't want to take shitloads of orders I may not be able to fill.
And I don't want to leave anyone hanging, ever.
If it ever was the case that I found myself sleeping on piles of money then I will be in Mexico building wheelchairs and handcycles for the disabled, and not here building high end bicycles.
That's just how I roll.
I do appreciate the sentiment, however.
I just don't want to ever go full "M. Chester" on everyone.

Re: Coconino Cycles
Good to see you busy and kayaking.
I saw the painted rigid fork being much shorter than the suspension Fox. Was the rigid fork off the shelf, or was it specially built for this bike with the proper (1/3?) sag that you intended? From the photo, it seems a lot shorter. Thanks.

Yes - it was built to not only compensate for sag but steering angle as well - steering is slightly quicker with the rigid, and a little less so with the shock to compensate for fork dive.
Plus, the dropouts are much thicker on the Fox as well................
