We've probably raced the same class a few times. We made a bunch of road trips in 07 and 08. The GA scene starts earlier than the FL scene and we could get a full season by combining the two. Maybe we should do some FLvs Ga Framebuilders Palloza race or something at the races. Could be fun. I'm a gracious loser.
Thought it would be fun to post some pics from a couple of my motorcycle projects. My 1974 Honda cb200 and my beloved 1997 Ducati 900ss. Love these machines but I sold them to support my frame building......On day I will be motorized again!

Hey man.. Im definitely a fan. Your bikes are sweet even dem motos.. Im diggin the hondas. Im in Clayton, Ga (north east corner) have built a few mountain bikes since there are more dirt roads and trails here than pavement. My buddy Brian who helps put the south east bike expo on told me about you two years ago and its cool to see someone not too far away gettin her done. I have been on the long and windy road of frame building and it looks like you have put in a long hard pull.... enjoy the break away bro and Im gonna come see you at some point.
Cheers, Bobby
Hey Bud, thanks for the kind words. Door is open anytime you want to visit the smallest bike factory in the world! Probably will hit SEBX next year. Got a lot of good exposure from it and Brian ran a excellent event. Bring one of your bikes and we can hit FATS just across the Savannah!
There are so many great frame options out there, but few with a person like you behind the torch. That's what makes your bikes cool to me. You can ride with the best and you are a pleasure to be around. The bikes are really beautiful. Sorry I couldn't stick around for your session. I missed out big time.
Sneak peak for the next FNL.....

Yeehaw! I'm officially 2 years in business, just sent the check to Mrs.Van Dixhorn for another year of liability insurance. Still think this was my favorite frame so far.

Just got an email from Jay in Australia.....
Hey Nate,
Bloody computers, I killed yet another PC! Now back on a Mac, hopefully the last time I have to buy another!
Anyhow, I lost most of the photos I took a few weeks back but took some fresh ones just before I traveled interstate for the first 2 National CX races.
Crazy lineup, plenty of Australian MTB national champs, Aust Road Race champs and Robbie McEwen! I'm certainly not in their league but I lasted the full hour, finishing on the same lap, a first for me.
As expected the bike was awesome! So well balanced and man does it pop! Check the pic from race 2.
3 zip files coming with the plenty more, sure's there's a few you can use.
Lost you last email but I remember you mentioning you went riding with Richard Sachs, nice!! That's some pretty serious props.
Cheers mate.

Well the Canon SD300 bought back in 2003 has been retired. 4 mega pixels, 56mb memory card, small size, $300!

Is it coincidence or do I see some bmx influence in your work? The seat tube clamp looks similar to what Eastern bikes do on there Grim Reaper, and that gusset you run to connect top and downtube reminds me of the old National Pro bmx race bikes.

I used to ride a little back in the '90s. Once in a while I will check out what's new in the 20" world. I remember seeing the pinch bolt location on the Eastern, liked it but thought it would work better in front of the seat tube to keep dirt off of it from the rear tire. Also instead if two horizontal slits I used one vertical slit with the holes on either end. So far so good and its holding up with no issues. Below is a December '99 magazine article about the Georgia trails scene. They featured our jumps here in Augusta. I guess this was the highlight of my 20" career!

That was a lot of shoveling dirt back them. I think that's why my elbows hurt today!

So long sign shops. No more 3-4 day waits, mistakes, regular vinyl when I asked for low tack vinyl, art fees and then they close up shop and you lose your art work you paid a premium for!
