Ach, sorry - I am misremembering an earlier discussion. It was someone else. My mistake.

If Biden is the best the Democrats can do, they certainly deserve to lose

Very easy, @j44ke. Secretary of State Clinton simply makes an educated guess on who she thinks is the likely 2020 Democrat candidate.
If VP Biden or Senator Sanders miraculously defeats President Trump, she is presumptive ancient Democrat candidate in 2024 or 2028.

Oh please. You and Larry Kudlow and the Pillow Man should just go share a bowl.

I mean the hubris..
No argument there. But there's also no election structure you can come up with where Bernie wins in 2016. He lost the primary popular vote, the delegate count, whatever metric you can come up with. And his long promised coalition has not materialized at all in 2020. If anything, he's performing worse because he's not running with real voter Clinton antipathy.
There again appears to be no credible path for him to nomination, and yet here's Sisyphus pushing that rock uphill yet again.
Agreed there's plenty of blame to go around, but Bernie also deserves his fair share for an absolutist approach to campaigning. It's certainly within his rights, but let's not act like the party he only cosplays as a member of every 4-6 years lacks a legit argument for his spitting in the proverbial soup.

No, I mean show information that backs up this supposition. Or is this just something of your own invention? If so, indicate that.
