Monday is closing day at Cannon *and* the eclipse.

Which means lifts stop for the season @ 2:30.

I plan to be on one of the last chairs to the summit, will try to remain near the top for the big moment.

Cannon is just south of the totality, so hoping to blitz for the parking lot and head south before everyone in the actual line of totality makes a break for it.

I rarely follow the crowds, but a combination of factors including a good buddy who wanted to take a Sick Day(tm) led to this.

How does the moon cut his hair?

    'Eclipse it...

Catamount wasn't bad...they will close for the season on Sunday.

Limited trails pushed me to take a run down Catapult...nothing like steep and bumpy to turn a guy into a rookie again lol.

Anyway, what I did notice being back at Catamount after a bunch of trips to Gore is.....improvement!

I actually do think I'm getting better!

There might be one more trip to Gore on Friday the 12th...and if I get up there, it will be the 13th ski day for me.

Oh, yeah...Twisted Sister Coffee here in Hillsdlae makes one hell of a latte....
