Better than new, I’d say.

Yeah, you bet !
Just bolt it to the new frame.
Yeah, this is not so bad, I mean, grinding the tubes down to good metal is the worst of it, but then it's just two tubes & a head tube with good access - anything on the back is much harder, many places of straight, like stay length, twist, all that, whereas the front only has one plane, the one through the middle of all the tubes - make sense?
Seat tube repair is the worst, only done one, those are not meant to be taken out of my frames nor most others for that matter, a lot os riding on the ST.

I saw one of Otis Guy's bikes in the shop and the chainstays had washboards in them: the metal had rippled but not failed. This was about 1977. He's a big guy.I pogoed my Breezer and a dimple developed at the top of the down tube. Joe brazed a tab on.

Here's what I got going on - see the straight line upper middle vertical?
That's one of your spinous processes, the fin guys that run down your back like a Y on your vertebrae.
That guy is doing pretty OK.
Then below it where it looks all train-wreck-y?
That one is busted off and floating around.
Ouch.
Black globs are contrast in the steroid injections.
Hoping tomorrow feels real good but right now pretty spun due to seven injections of steroid.
They want to go in there and grind all those guys down but I'm not ready for that yet, I told him "But I just had open heart" and he says totally understandable.

Building bikes, tumbling rocks
- Garro.
We use our rock tumbler rarely enough that I keep wondering what that noise is.
