    sorry for sucking!

i have been remiss in imparting my mindless drivel on you poor, poor people. sincerest apologies. from here on out, expect a new jerk report each and every friday. fortune has smiled on your lowly fat fuck- my pal nico mailed me 52 50ct cans of jupiler from belgium which arrived today along with a really stupid extra large team cinelli t-shirt. i love defunct team paraphanalia especially when it is large enough to use as a tent or mu-mu. never was too fond of pants.

in other stupid news, i went to swarthmore pennsylvania for the missus's college reunion. it made me wish i had persued my dream of teaching theory at an all girls and some gay and socially inept straight men university.....i would call them all my little chickodees and wax profanely about marcuse's influence on post 1972 blaxploitation cinema.....but i digress.

in the bike world, contador is scared he won't have a team. lance knows he's got the boys on his side and while a win isn't guaranteed for the uni-baller- he can spoil everything for contador- make america take notice of his ego yet again and insure i sell a shit ton of treks in a depressed economy. livestrong dude....it's all about you and it's all about me.

the first customer gaulzettis are being shipped out to their future homes as we speak. i had a chance to ride pete bradshaws around the block today and i was suprised by how solid and nice that bike rides. i honestly have never felt a bike that feels so right. hopefully my personal bike'll be part of the next batch. still, the important thing was to work out the kinks with the embrocation team. honestly, there were no kinks. the guys really like the bikes and i think we are on too something here.

more tomorrow in the full length jerk report. sorry for the delay. in the mean time here are some picture of stuff making me happy. live with it.

glad to hear the gaulzetti's are shipping to customers. the embro boyz have been tearing up the northeast on those things and despite some early tire fit issues on mr. bradshaw's rig, he just had a top 5 finish in NY last weekend. sounds like you've supplied them with top notch equipment.

    What he said ^

Was there a time when Tudor had Rolex on the face? 1940s?

I went to the watch dealer yesterday and came out with a pen!

I don't think Rolex & Tudor ever appeared on the same dial, although for a long time, Tudors used Rolex cases & crowns on their oyster models. Based on the below-linked explanation (which may or may not be accurate), the watch is a Tudor with a refinished dial (called a "California" dial). Makes sense to me, since the case looks like a modern design and the dial looks too clean to be fifty or more years old.
