So I got a " sales call" from the NAHBS hotel committee (I was like really? You're already booking up on rooms? I haven't even returned from Vegas yet!) and at first I was like, yeah whatever. So they tried to sell me some kinda pricey room options and I told them to call me back after Interbike.
But curiously, I went to the NAHBS website and went on to the NAHBS hotel and it was better priced than all the options from the hotel-wizard that called me. I said screw it and went ahead and booked my room (good price at the Crowne.) Being in a planning state I thought I'd check out transpo from airport to hotel while I was at it and decided to go car free. For anyone interested, there is a Skyride option at the Denver Airport that takes you from the airport to the convention center downtown for $9. I won't need a car once I get there and so this is perfect for me. The NAHBS hotel is 2 blocks from the convention center and so $9 (vs. $75-$100 plus for a taxi or $100's and $100's for a car which will sit in a parking lot for the duration.
