2013 NAHBS Roll Call - It's not far away anymore

I have vacation for a week starting the 17th, so I can attend and can probably stretch it out a few days on either end. Not sure if I should bring my skis or my bike, or both. Great time to get a head start on road riding so I can easily see a bike making the trip with me.

Anyone live in Colorado who can comment on 'average' weather for that time of year? I know you could get a 30" blizzard but it seems like you could also have 70º and sunny. I can see the Zank covered with grime and grit from daily rides leading up to the show...

Weather could be either of those. Average is probably about 45, but it can swing quite drastically in either direction. When checking the weather reports, just make sure you look at Denver, not the mountains (It seems the national news often gives the impression that Denver is getting hammered when it's actually up in the hills.)

Last time I was there, there was a bus from Denver to Boulder.

Or you can rent a bike and ride there. If the weather is decent, I plan on doing the Denver-Golden-Boulder route while I am there.

I'll be there for sure. Never been to NAHBS before so I'm really looking forward to it.

I work in Boulder and there are buses that run from Boulder to Denver. You can check out the bus routes here- RTD

I'm definitely planning on being there. Rooms to be reserved shortly. Hope to bring the Zank or another and ride this mythical Denver-Golden-Boulder route. Weather dependent, but I'd rather ride that week than ski. Maybe both!

The Austin show was more fun than should be allowed. I was only in Austin for about 18 hours but it was a blast and anyone who loves looking at the pictures of the cool bikes here should plan on going. The bikes are even better in person and meeting the builders and other creepy bike nuts is a blast. Really looking forward to the whole shebang.

Duh. I'll be there with a couple other Jacksonites. I'll bring bikes to fart around Denver on, but I won't be riding the USA Pro Cycling Challenge course. Damn that's a stupid long name for a bike race. We'll be at the Curtis keeping it weird.
