Veloce 10s hubs any good?

I've got a line on a wheelset built around 10s Veloce hubs (tasty silver). The seller figures them to be 5 years old. I seem to recall that one of the lower tier Campy hubs, Centaur? Daytona?, was supposed to be really bad. I guess the Veloce ones would be heavier than their Chorus/Record counterparts but are they any good? I'm a heavy rider 215.

I've always had good luck with those hubs. I say go for it.

I weigh more than you do and have had good luck with them. They will be heavier, as they have steel axles and the centaur and above of that vintage will have the OS alloy axle (and big price tag).

If they're 2007 vintage they're sealed bearing rather than loose ball. That makes them really really bad unless you just want a decent hub that lasts. I'll be riding a set (labeled Centaur) home this evening.
