DT Swiss freehub swap

I have a DT 350 hub (same as 240, just not swiss made) that is shimano spline and I want to swap the campy freehub on to it. I have looked at the DT site and saw their instructions. However, I do not have access to a vise or a bearing puller. Any other way to do the freehub removal that is quick and easy?

Also, the campy freehub that I have has the spring and clutches with it. Are the clutches identical in the shimano and campy freehubs? I'd like to just reuse the parts that have the grease on them already....

You shouldn't really need any tools. Just grab that sucker (the bare freehub body w/o cassette) and yank on it. Wear some gardening gloves or something and try not to shoot all the internal parts everywhere when the f-hub pops out. Internal parts are same but there are different end caps for Campy and Shimano.

if your hands don't do the job, just get the freehub body clamped in a vice and pull up. way easier than by hand i've found :)

Lil' buddy. If your FH bodies are like mine, they have been on there a while and won't come off without a fight. A little heat will help. Use a hairdryer and be patient, wear gloves.

Ha. Not like yours. This is freshie new stuff. Got a too good deal on the shimano standard hub and have a new campy fhb for swap. Planning on rehoming the shimano freehub.
