Tour de Bivalve and Hub on Wheels

It's time to start thinking about the third annual Tour de Bivalve and Hub on Wheels. The Tour is on Saturday September 26th, starting at the Village Restaurant in Essex. The route will be similar to last year - about 42 rambling miles through some really pretty towns in Essex county, and ending with a delicious lunch at The Village Restaurant, and the company of our very own Old School.

Hub on Wheels is a great ride through Boston with 6,000 of your closest cycling buddies on Sunday September 27th.

Registration for Hub on Wheels can be found here: http://hubonwheels.kintera.org/faf/h...B66A0FF9A04059

    So who's in?

I think the race is Saturday and the ride is Sunday. Check out the website.

This is a fun ride, and an opportunity to see a lot of the city most people don't know.

    I like it here.
    GO!

Gee Rob. Is this all set up with Mark?

We were trying to coordinate the TdB with a stop at Iglehart's shop. Have you talked to Chris?

Bruce - I haven't spoken with either Mark or Chris - I'm assuming that The Village is OK with us - but I'll double check.

A stop at the Igleheart factory sounds like a great idea, and is on the route.

    Hi Gang;

Here are the details for the Tour de BiValve

We'll start from The Village Restaurant in Essex MA (55 Main St.) at 9 AM on Saturday 9/26.

We'll do a rambling 24 miles or so to a water / snack stop at my house in Topsfield. Then return through a different route to The Village for a delicious lunch - total mileage about 43.

I have the following folks confirmed for Tour De BiValve:
    Hardlyrob
    39Cross
    Znfdl
    Bruce K
    BBDave
Chris Igleheart plus some hangers on that were great fun last year
    Old School
    TiDesigns
    William?
    Packzi?
    Capybaras?

Who else want's to come out and ride with us?

The Hub on Wheels starts early on Sunday in downtown Boston - be there by 7:15 at City Hall Plaza, ride starts at 8:00.

We've managed to find our group the past couple of years this way - they tend to line us up in two lanes - outside for the faster riders, and inside for slower. Look for a group in crash test dummy kit - Can Crash Cycling, and I believe BBDave will be in full zebra kit again like last year. We'll be near the front on the outside (farthest from City Hall Plaza) lane.

Come on out, it's a great ride for a great cause.

    Cheers!

    Rob
