Hi All,
That time of year is approaching quickly so here it is:
The December SLO (San Luis Obispo) LSD (Long Slow Distance) training camp. November 30, December 1, & 2, 2012. All are invited. There is no cost for this camp. Bring some $$$ for yourself and gas money for neutral support. Be sure to bring what you need (tools, food, tubes, etc.) in the unlikely circumstance you find yourself alone, with the support vehicle unavailable. Do all three days, two days, one day, or part of any ride; all are welcom
e.
Helmets are required.
This is not a race, but be prepared to ride at a reasonable pace; all rides will be at an endurance pace and there will be a substantial amount of climbing on Friday and Saturday. The support vehicle will stay with the group so, if you decide to go hard, consider yourself unsupported. Those who want to "race" to the top of the climbs fine, but turn around, go back down, and do the climb again with the riders at the back. This is about logging miles, camaraderie, riding with old friends, and making new ones. It is not about who has the best fitness in December. We have a long racing season ahead to flex our muscles.
All Rides depart from Black Horse Coffee, 1065 Higuera Street, San Luis Obispo;

All rides will leave on time, so get there early if you want to have coffee and visit.
Friday, November 30; ride leaves at 1:30 PM, 62 miles.
