    Damn. That weekend, really?

I have been registered for this

    http://www.wataugaredcross.com/bsg/main/start.htm

for quite sometime on Saturday 6/26. Don't think I can pull off both, as my girlfriend is doing the ride up in Boone, NC with me. Sounds like a ton of fun. One should be planned for the Fall too...

We are riding friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Maybe you can come down for a day. Would love to see as many owners as possible for however long you can be there. Most of us are leaving monday morning so we will be looking for you!

Will there be routes good for a cross bike? Fireroads etc...?

Good question and there is more down there then I am aware of. If any Asheville folks know the answer to this please chime in.

There will be road rides for sure, one organized mtb and one road per day. There are a few local shops down there that will be culled for routes and possibly guides. I don't have a road bike so I planned on bringing my cross bike. In the bent creek area (where we are camping) there trails you could easily take your cross bike in for sure. some might be a bit "adventurous" for one, but it really depends on how crazy you want. I know there is a ride i Pisgah up to black mountain that is all gravel, so ride up and then hold on the way down. :) Full disclosure I used a mtb on that.

BTW, Harpoon Brewery has signed on as one of the sponsors so there will be plenty of free flowing refreshments.

So Darren buy an IF and come play!

Yes any bike built by IF is welcome, Hampsten and Phil Wood are great examples of this and would be a blast to add into the mix.

Darren would love to see you there! Happy you too!

So far we have these folks coming down as of now.

The majority of folks are mtbers, but we do have some roadies. We have contacted some dealers looking for ride guides as a few of us have hit the trails a few times. Bent Creek, Dupont, Balck Mtn, etc. As for road, still looking for some help there. Any Asheville folks want to lead a few rides?

We have plenty of beer, tents, and guys for a good time.

If any of you are interested let me know and will let you know where we will be. If you want to camp let Joe and I know so we can get you a spot.

    Guys coming down:
    Joe Ingram
    Dave Bradley
    Mike Galinger
    Cecil Mathai
    Darren Ling
    Ryan Ling
    Tyler Evans
    Jeff Tharp
    Shai Shtub
    Todd Braswell
    Steve McQuade
    Lloyd Graves
    Todd Burger
    Terry Klie
    Justin Faircloth
