Used to vacation a bit west of there and it is beautiful country. I don't know about mountain madness but there are some long steep rollers (no affiliation).

I don't know my June schedule yet, but this could be interesting. Michigan in summer is about the best riding I've seen in the US outside of WI or CO of course.... Seriously, a good place to ride a bike.
