I think I just got suckered into it, the most climbing I've done in a day is roughly 2000 feet, I think I might die

Feel free to come make fun of me as I struggle through the whole thing....

Has anyone done this ride before- is it fun, well-oraganized, etc.?
Looks like it might be an acceptable replacement for D2R2 which I'm missing. I could conceivably drive down and back from DC for this in one day.
Damn! I was getting all excited about this ride and realized I have obligations in Charleston that weekend. (hint, hint Jonathan G.)
This is where we had a few meals during spring training camp. . . very good eats, even better IPA.

I'm about 90% on this. I'm waiting on a new rear wheel that SHOULD be here by then. It will easily be the biggest climbing ride I've ever done by 2x so I have a feeling I will feel pretty awful by the end.
Wow, I want to do this one. Is this a new ride? Anyone done it before? If I don't make it for 2009, it will be on the calendar for 2010 for sure. It would be a great warm up for SM100.
:)
Update - I can't make this one, but I am going to try and do it solo in late Sept or early Oct. I'm going to get the GPS track from a mountain bike buddy. Let me know if anyone is interested in joining me.
