    Default DC ride board

Hey - thought I might start a ride thread for DC-area riders looking to drum up a partner or a group for a ride.

I'll start - I'm doing an early morning 100 up to Sugar Loaf and back Sunday 16 May 2010. PM me if you want to come. I'm in Columbia Heights, but I'm sure we could meet somewhere or on the way.

There are several people on dcfixed.com that ride Patapsco 2+ days a week. Join there and you'll be sure to find someone willing to ride it almost any day of the week.

I am hoping to get back to longer rides in about a month. I am flexible as to what days to ride.

Right now, I am fat, slow and out of shape.......

    Zinn,

When you get back to it, I would love to do some of those mid week long rides you used to do. Im way behind on my training and need to get some miles in before July 17th in a bad way.

Just give me a few days notice.

I don't know how many folks here ride mountain bikes...

I'm going to be in MD visiting family from June 24th through July 4th and am shipping a mountain bike out. My intention is to get out to Avalon once or twice, ride the Fred.Shed at least twice and I'll probably head out to Schaeffer Farm every day that i'm not riding the other areas if it's not raining. If anyone is interested in riding some dirt, hit me with a PM.

    Sean

P.S. I'm only capable of relaxed rides. Being a stay at home dad has put the hurt on finding time for fitness and my intentions of pulling a trailer through May and June have so far been dashed by two months of pouring rain and colder than normal temps. If you need to hammer, don't PM me, we won't have any fun together.

Good post, I ride in DC 2-3 days a week usually solo and generally starting in Alexandria or Gravelly Point and going from there. I'd like to ride with any of you guys. My pace is usually about 17 or so, I'm not a hammerer!
