Never done it. I signed up for the 102 miler. I think it might hurt. Caesars Head is at the end of the ride...

I will be there, since they cancelled the Cherohala Challenge (my favorite event) this year due to Hwy 129 being closed. The Caesars Head Challenge is a good ride, though there is a rough road or two on the route and one occurs during a descent. This will be the second year of the event. I will also be riding Caesars Head this Saturday as part of the Assault on the Carolinas. Its also a good ride, perhaps even better than the CHC. Caesars Head is a great climb - not too difficult but plenty strenuous.
Crazy good event. I'm going to think it over. Long drive yo.
I boned this one and got Wicked tickets for the Saturday matinee. Grrr. Oh well, it's Savs birthday present. I just shoulda picked another show.
If Too Tall is there, I'm so on his wheel!
fun climb. did it three times Wednesday and it wrecked me.
doing it this year -- but I'll take the 62 miler
fawk...100 miles in the mountains...I'd rather have my balls chainsawed off
saw you'll do the 60
you get my BBQ
gotta watch my figure this time of year
Remember, you could always ride the century course and then turn off before the climb up CH. You miss some good climbing/desending up around the tuxedo area if you do the 65. All depends on what you want to get out of the ride I guess...I will be there and I'll be doing the 100+...
I'm going to try and win the 60
famous last words
How about you go win the 60 then come back and get me and push and pull me from mile 30 to 60... the math sounds about right... then you can have both of our bbq plates... you'll have earned em...
thanks in advance.
ps. wear a kinda loose shirt please...
pps. looks like they are starting at 7:30 instead of 9am this year... i might start at 5am though... so i can finish middle of the pack...
