140s are pretty rare in 31.8. Another example of the industry dropping the extremes in their product lines (like 180mm cranks).

If you could accomodate 26.0 bars, stem options are everywhere and I have many.

A bigger frame has nothing to do with needing a longer stem. I'm 6'2'' with long arms, If i went any "bigger" the HT would be too tall and the front center would be crazy long. This is for a racebike not a monstercross/rando/DH/tri thing. Tall guy + racebike= longstem. Pretty straight forward really. 6'5" here, also rocking the -17 140mm stem. Don't forget about handlebar reach, that might get you another 1cm or 2. I'm using the Deda Deep Belgium ones.

Haha. I'm actually in the process of trying to convince Bob Jackson that despite being 6'2" I can't possibly ride a frame with a 200mm (before headset) headtube. They recommend 100-110mm stems for their frames. I want a 58cm with a 130 like my other bikes.
