    Default Shut up legs poster

After watching Jens drop back and proceed to do violence to himself to help Andy up the Madeleine on Tuesday, I figured that a good use of my Friday afternoon would be to lay some ink down on some posters to pay respect. 75% of the proceeds go to the Delaware Food Bank, cost is $20, posters ship to you for no additional cost if you're in the States, an extra $7 bucks if you're not, and they'll start shipping come Thursday or so when I get tubes in. 100 of these guys.

18 inches by 24 inches. Black ink. Mohawk Superfine cover weight paper.

Nice idea! I think I may have to pony up for one of those.

That's the Friday Night Lights behind the scene look at the making of. The lockup is what I'd call beautifully ugly.

    Friday morning gratuitous bump.

The first batch went out yesterday, but I've still got 79 of these guys hanging around.

Soooooo cool Ben, thanks I'm very keen to get this hung in the man-cave.
Tell me how you'd display this. I'm a heathen and often will pay for archival mount to double thick foam coreboard.
There REALLY should be a polaroid of the press setup with every copy so folks can really appreciate how insanely over the top this production is.
    Chapeau-issimo.

Funny, I was just at the hardware store picking up some 1/16" wire rope, screw eyes, crimps and a turnbuckle (because if you can work 'turnbuckle' into something, you have to) to run a wire in my basement/pressroom (sadly not the pressroom pictured above, that's at Lead Grafitti in Newark, DE) to hang a bunch of posters on the wall off of using binder clips. I'll post a picture when that's done. One can do the same thing with two nails and four binder clips. Just hang the top to binder clips off nails, then use the other two at the bottom to weight the poster down. Another way is simply small rare earth magnets and metal thumbtacks: thumbtack in the wall, poster on top, magnet holds it on. Simple and clean. I'm also off to Ikea to see if they've got a frame to fit the poster tomorrow. I tend towards cheaper ways of hanging posters, as I move things around.

Dewd that's brilliant: "Another way is simply small rare earth magnets and metal thumbtacks: thumbtack in the wall, poster on top, magnet holds it on."
