This is a silly deal, (maybe throw a carbon fork in with it for the less informed ebayers?) on the bay, you should seriously get double. A cracked love 3 just sold for nearly your price! Good luck.

OK, I'll display my ignorance here. If I bought this frame/fork, could I just install a current 7900/9000/SRAM Red group on it? I assume the BB is Italian (but that the current crop of outboard BB would just thread right in) and I would need a 1"-clamp threadless stem?

You could. It's 1" threadless fork, but everything else is bog standard/modern - 130mm rear spacing, Italian bottom bracket (can use external cups for 7900/9000/SRAM Red).

You should buy it. If I hadn't just decided to get a Colnago, I'd have bought this within 30 minutes of the posting. It's one of my grail bikes. If you decide you don't like it, you can always PM me in six months...

These are hard to come by, thus you'll likely purchase a regular 1 1/8" stem and use a shim to downsize it to 1". That's how my Zanconato 'cross is set-up. Good luck. As a current owner of several Pegs, I can say they rock. And at this price it's nearly a no brainer (you can even sell it to Christian in 6 months)!

Due to some unexpected circumstances this frame is available once again.

I also have a NOS Sella San Marco Regal Titanio saddle in matching blue leather available.{This is the one e-RICHIE sells}
The person who buys the frame gets first right of refusal on the saddle {Price of saddle not included with frame}
I will also include the spacer/sleeve for steerer to convert from 1" to 1&1/8" stem.
