FS: Velocity A23/Chris King R45 Wheelset

Selling these bad boys for a friend of mine.

The wheelset is a pair of Chris King R45 hubs in black with a Shimano freehub laced to Velocity A23's in black with machined sidewalls.

They're 32hole 3x in the rear and 28hole 2x in the front. Laced with silver DT Swiss Comps on the front and the non-drive, silver Champions on the drive. The front is laced with black alloy nipples and the rear with silver brass nipples. This wheelset is built for durability and stiffness, and it shows too - they're dead on true.

They've been ridden, but their owner is a master mechanic - he takes the utmost care of his stuff as evidenced in the pictures below. There are some minor imperfections in the finish, but nothing structural.

Total weight on these bad boys is 1650g, no skewers, no rim tape.

He's looking for $600 shipped. Local pick up in the SF Bay Area would bring that price down.

Both generations of the rim take tubeless tires.

One of these rims is Australian and the other is US-made. It is the stock supplied from QBP.
