Default FS: Speedvagen Road Prototype -***SOLD***

    ***SOLD*** thanks all.

    Hey all,

I'm selling a 2010 SV proto frame. The difference between this and a standard 2010 Road frame is that this one has a carbon seattube and is about 1//3 pound lighter than the standard.

The frame has a couple of hundred test miles on it but has yet to be painted so the buyer will have their choice of color and scheme. The frame is ready for paint and could be finished and shipped within the next week or two.

The frameset comes with an Edge 1.0 fork and the new Speedvagen Carbon Post Head made for us by Edge composites. Together these upgrades equal about $500.

    TT length: 580mm
Bar drop is in the 60-90mm range depending on saddle height, etc.
Saddle height is 780 to 800mm with an Arione CX

    Price is $3500

Give a ring if interested: 503-233-2453

    -Sacha

If you put it under a grow light, can the seatmast get to 890mm? I'm assuming I'm SOL this time around...

Out of curiosity, when you say "carbon seat tube" do you really mean the seat tube or are you referring to the Edge carbon post head? A carbon seat tube would certainly be a departure from the old....and interesting to hear about...

He states it comes with the new Edge post head ... so I'm thinking this has a carbon seattube. Very interesting indeed. I'd like to learn more about this and if it develop over time. This one doesn't fit me though.

I'm super confused. how does a steel bike end up with a carbon seat tube unless it's got a BMC type construction?
