FS: Nagasawa and Vanilla road

You've seen them here before. And yes, I'm a little nuts so don't try to talk me out of it.

Truth be told, I want to help out a family member who needs some cash, and at the same time freeing up a little scratch to get some dura ace 11 speed.

pm or email me for some details. I'm not 100% on the final prices, but I'm looking at about $2000 for the vanilla frameset and 1800 for the Nagasawa. Will include a jersey with the vanilla, and a cool vintage brochure with the Nagasawa with all the old photos.

They are both about 55 top tube. saddle heights around 72.5

Headsets included, all other kit is staying here. If you want a phil wood BB in the Nagasawa cuz its harder to take it out, I'll throw that in for an extra $75.

The only time I saw that Vanilla was 2010 D2R2 when we tried (unsuccessfully) to ditch Sean at the lunch stop. It was beautiful then and I can confirm it didn't hold Sean back at all on the dirt. It's my size, and I'm tempted, but I'm flush with bikes right now.

Someone buy this - you will not be disappointed.

Thanks Wayne and others for the plug and compliments. It's a fact that this bike is D2R2 certified ready. I'm still waiting on the downtube sticker to come in from Sandy.

I'm still digging around the house for the build sheet and old promo book for the Nag. And I seem to recall that Sacha built the BB nice and low on the vanilla since I requested a bike that will descend well on dirt and rough roads. I want to say 70 or 73mm? Angles are around 73 or something like that. One problem is that the old emails we exchanged regarding the final specs were a different acct which had since been hacked so I had to dump it.

Approx mileage on the vanilla is about 2500, less than 800 on the Nag.

I should also mention that I made a slight modification to the Nagasawa recently. The cable guides he put on this frame are probably the least elegant I've seen, and the rear one was always more snug on the brake cable than the other two. I dunno, maybe he doesn't build a lot of road frames anymore, maybe too much Sake?? Anyhow, its tight to the point that I had to grease the cable up and pull with two hands to get it to feed through. I finally decided a better solution was to dremel the cable guide off, leaving the base intact so as not to risk cutting close to the tube itself, and then use a retro chrome campy cable guide that attaches over the top. It looks so cool that I considered doing the same with the other two. Haven't done it yet, but if the frame sells I'll include the two other NOS cable guides in case the new owner wants to use them. They have the little wing/shield campy logo engraved into them. Will upload a photo of how it looks in a bit.

Note to self, when you see a screaming deal dont try to negotiate like i did . hence it is going else where . early paypal'er gets the worm.
