Default FS: Croll 531 frameset with SS lugs

I bought this frameset from Walter Croll in 1992 and rode it for years. Raced it and generally abused it on both sides of the Atlantic. It once had the down tube replaced and was repainted after an accident. That was about 14 years ago.

It is Reynolds 531 with Henry James lugs, fork crown and dropouts. The head lugs, crown, dropouts and seatstay cap are polished. I hate to get ride of this frameset, but I really have to start clearing stuff out. I have a Zank coming and right now in my house I already have 5 rideable race bikes. Something's gotta give.

    Unfortunately it's the Croll.

Like I said, it's 531 with all that that entails. Not real light. Not real stiff, at least not compared to today's frames. But it's an honest ride and it'll take a licking and keep on ticking.

Geo was custom and handling is a bit different than my Serottas and Look, but perfectly rideable.

    Seat tube - 58 cm c-t or 56.5 c-c
    Top Tube - 58 cm
    Head Tube - 16.5
    Chain Stay - 40.8
    Wheel Base - 100

AFAIK, the seat angle is about 72.5

The final picture is what it looked like built up.

    $327.68 is the price.

I would be willing to deal with anyone who has aluminum Chorus Ergo shifters in 10-speed, Record 8-speed Ergo (prefer Titanium - final iteration), Ambrosio Nemesis rims, Mavic GP-4 28/32 rims. Or anything else I might want to have, like a Saturn SL1/SW1 with a manual transmission in good shape.

I've thought about it. But I have too many bikes. If it doesn't sell that could still happen.

I have a set of Alloy Chorus 10 speed shifters in fantastic condition, but I don't need another bike. PM me if you're interested in them and we can work something out. Otherwise I'll post them FS this weekend.
