2012 Cannondale Trail SL5 29er, size Med...

This past summer I got back into mountain biking and bought this entry level Trail SL5 as my first 29er. I like it so I'm now building up a Karate Monkey and I don't need this anymore. The bike is in perfect condition (no scratches or dents). About 20 rides either on the Delaware River path or Lake Nockamixon trails.


It is stock except I put a Ritchey Comp post on. I'm keeping my seat (for the KM) so no seat for you. Just slap your seat on and hit the trails with this entry level 29er. See specs at cannondale.com.


Proceeds from the sale go to a powdercoat for my KM build.


I haven't packed it up yet (ran out of packing/duct tape packing up the caad10) so I'll get it done Tue and ready to ship.

That is a great deal. Plenty of bike for someone looking to sip the 29er koolaid without dropping a lot of cash.

Yeah - I tend to fall between a small and a med in both road and mtbs. Both sizes fit me, the small fitting better for standover but short on the tt, the med being tight on the standover but just fine on the tt. Damn you bike industry

The KM I just got is a small (16in) but I have a 130 stem on it.

How tall are you, MJS? Inseam?

just shy of 5-9. inseam 31 to 32. My road bikes have a stand over between 30.5 and 31. My seat height (road bike) from bb center to top of seat is 70.5cm with 172.5 cranks.

Price change - I'm bumping the price to 500 shipped. I just sold and shipped the caa10 and was surprised how much to ship fedex from PA to TX ($200 - 180 plus 20 insurance).

So $500 boxed and shipped lower 48. Local pickup 450.
