Where to Stay in Montreal

We are looking for a hotel in Montreal for the race weekend of Sept. 11-13. Not fleabag, not 5 star.

Any recommendations?

I used to stay at a nice bed and breakfast Montreal Bed and Breakfast Accommodation in Downtown Montreal Quebec they also have a toll-free number: 1-800-267-5180

To be honest when I wanted to extend my stay and they no longer had availability, they recommended another B & B that I found to be even better but I can't find the address anymore.

How about the W? It is my favorite hotel in Montreal. They may be somewhat expensive at that time of year... I usually stay there in the fall/winter when they have better rates.
