Watched Bajadali / KBS win the Tour de WingHaven today

It was a circuit race, 28 times around a 3 mile loop with a short climb to the finish line. This year it was kind of a big deal because the race was on the NRC. Colavita, Jelly Belly, TT1 and others showed up. The conditions were really tough (93* throughout the race, high humidity, 75* dew point) just walking the course and there were a ton of DNFs, but his strategy was just about perfect. Three guys were up the road for most of the race but were reeled in just before the end, then Andy and one of the three (can't remember his name, but he was the true hard-man of the race) got another gap. The other guy was wasted from having been out front all day so Bajadali took him by about 10 yards in the final uphill sprint. All the finishers really earned it today.

PS Toward the end of the race I chatted for about 10 seconds with some of the KBS guys who had DNF'd and asked about Flux. They seemed like pretty nice guys.

baj rode the slr t1 last year. looks like that hasn't changed.

good to see him get that win, he certainly deserves it.
