Gives new meaning to the phrase bomb proof.

The Speedvagen Tank - PROLLY IS NOT PROBABLY

Have any of you actually seen it?

I think it suits their aesthetic -- yeah, it may be a bit overboard on the branding front, but it's pretty damn cool.

I would love to see the offspring between this and the Rapha mobile; I bet they both want to do each other

Now my wife wants that as a daily driver. Wonder what the wait is like?

That must have a huge crabon footprint to operate. The practical upside is that there is little or no worry that someone will break into the race van and steal all the gear. Cool marketing gimmick, but the conspicuous consumption angle of it is wrong to me and seems more in place at a nascar event.

Personally, I think an FJ60 Land Cruiser would have been a better choice.

They're in Portland. Driving to the race probably means going a few miles down the road. Also, even at 6 mpg the person driving their VW hatch to the race alone probably has a bigger carbon footprint.

Nice, but if they want us to buy into it they need to weld a "V" style cage on the end of that exhaust pipe to make it officially tough. Someone from the super-relax team could just walk up and stick a cherry bomb up in there or perhaps a baby seal's head.
