The home they visited wasn't where Greg grew up as was stated. That was about 20 miles north, north of Carson City where a road race course was laid out and used often. Story goes that when the north state road championship passed by their front door and he and his dad were hooked on bikes and racing.

Credit where credit is due - the picture is from the Rapha site. The man still looks fantastic on the bike. People of girth take note. You don't need your bars up high.
I wonder when this all was relative to the _____ ________ news. The story is of a genuine guy and all the anecdotes of piss and vinegar are non-existent. Nice. Seems like the old Greg; a changed and new man since the weight of that story is off his shoulders.
