I drove to Indy a few years ago and it was well worth it.
No, it is not worth the trip. Make other plans and forget about heading to Denver.
So I guess it's a 50-50 proposition. Flip a coin, heads you go, tails you don't.
Yes, you should go. Its a great opportunity to meet framebuilders, suppliers and get infected with some cool stuff.

There is a vibe and level of interaction at the show that makes it worth the trip. You will not get that from looking at pictures online.
That being said, I'd have a hard time justifying flying to Denver in February only to stand under fluorescent lights in a convention hall for three days. I'd much prefer to be standing on some rented Dynastars gliding down a nearby slope.
