Jingle Cross Weekend

It's Jingle Cross weekend here in Iowa City. Should be a lot of fun. I'll be participating (racing is probably not the correct term) in the 3's races each day. 1181 people are pre-registered.

Last night, Carousel Volkswagen (the main sponsor) hosted a meet and greet with Ryan Trebon, Tim Johnson, Helen Wyman, and Teal Stetson-Lee. Fun times. One quick picture from last night. I'm the short dude on the left of the picture. I don't normally wear a cycling cap unless I'm riding (honest - I don't!), but wanted to get our team cap in the pictures. This picture was taken with 3 teammates, Ryan, and Helen.

Racing the 2's both Saturday and Sunday. I'm honestly glad it won't be a mudfest this year. Racing in the mud is fun and all but cleaning up at the venue and hotel is a pain.

I'll be racing all three days. Racing elite, hopefully well enough to score some of them uci points!

Isaac you crushed today, nice top 10. The climb was hard today but descent was more fun.

Enjoyed meeting Isaac, although he wouldn't take a dog hand up from me. I suppose those skin suits don't have very big pockets.

I was, as predicted, mediocre in the 3s races. Was fun, though.
