    Default Indy Fab's new site

    http://www.ifbikes.com/

Have you guys checked out the IF website lately? WOW!

After what seems like _forever_ the Indy Fabbers have updated their site. Am I just late to the party and maybe this has already been discussed?

You know , it's funny.........this relationship I have with IF in my head. I seem to have this very strong brand loyalty with them. I have loved my Planet X over the years and have recently shared about selling it to build a new ss mtb. My original thought was to have IF build up a steel Deluxe. I keep trying to talk myself into doing something completely different since I have already had an Indy but I just keep coming back to it. Then I stop by their website and........BOOM..........new lust.

Great job guys. Now I am dreaming of that new ss mtb in my favorite Quetzal Green.
Should we ever have the opportunity to ride together you will understand my avatar.

I couldn't get past the second picture on the main page. The one with the great green color and the fat dude. Just look at the stem and you'll know what I mean. Why would they show that one bicycle? Fasterbackwardsville.

That is an awesome looking site. I foresee lots of clone sites...

That's the picture that sold me on the new sight. That and the tasty looking pint at the end of the slide show.

Seems like the new site speaks right to their values.

Kudos to IF for matching their values and ethos to their fine bicycles: this site does a great job putting these things together. Love it.

I've a particular fondness for the new Honjo-clad Club Racer and that pink Ti CJ.

Very cool! IF has always had the best bike catalogs, with great design and photography, so it is cool to see them with an equivalent website. The old one just blew. They lost me to another builder on my latest bike, but that was due more to frustration with my local dealer and their inability to get me an RA number for my last IF. But I'll probably come back to them someday, after wasting hours looking at the new gallery.

    :)

I agree...I actually liked their old site, but the new one is light years ahead of that.

I say kudos to everyone there at IF......great site, great catalogs, great values, great bikes! Nice job guys....let me know when you decide to do a full suspension mtb and I will gladly send a check!!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Tyler's been working double duty with the good folks at Frank Creative in Portland (OR) to get this up and running, and we're psyched with how it is shaping up.

This crowd is super quick on the uptake, since it just went live yesterday. Bear with us as we work out the kinks and get more content and capability up and running.

As for the picture of Finn and his girlfriend's Factory Lightweight, there's a back-story. After we finished building the bike, I asked Tyler to shoot a few shots of it in the studio with Finn before he delivered it to Sarah as kind of a Beauty and the Beast composition. They thought they were being funny with the "skins" shots. I promised that the shots would be used to advantage, so we will have posters available at NAHBS.

Catuelle, technically the bike's not "fasterbackwards", since the bars do not come up higher than the saddle. Also, Finnbar is very Irish, so technically his belly is not fat. It's an Irish Camelback that he is sticking out, and the boy can ride and wield a mean torch. In the words of the Boss, "we ain't pretty, but hey we're alright".
