I'm not sympathetic to this lawsuit and if he is serious will likely pay his own court costs when it's tossed out.

This is totally predictable. I am sure _____ _________ will followup with his own civil suit when several of the implicated are found not guilty. Legal proceedings are not about guilt, they are about laws and presentation. The fact that he wasn't criminally charged is a huge piece of this picture. If they can't get a legal conviction, the rest is suspect. ( I am sure he is guilty, but the selective nature of the investigations decreases credibility of the UCI and USADA.)

Legal proceedings are not about guilt, they are about laws and presentation. The fact that he wasn't criminally charged is a huge piece of this picture. The story goes that the Feds felt good about their case. Most of the investigators were shocked that it got closed down (on a Friday afternoon before the Super Bowl, no less).

That being said, this case would seem to be weak and just an attempt at publicity. I didn't think this lawsuit was really about "you know who", but rather a public
indictment of the UCI.

OT but - what's happening with people like Allen Lim, Chris Carmichael, Jim Oschowicz and the countless others who are flying under the radar on all this business? I've read some headlines but there's not much. So many people built their reputations on the back of the doping cyclists and there is no way they can play dumb (IMO).
