    Default Hey Red Sox fans....

....welcome to Tampa! :hahaha:Now, go home!! Go Rays. Yeah that's right we swept your Sox.

I have been a big baseball fan since back in the day growing up in the midwest and listening to KMOX, out of St. Louie, on the transistor radio in the backyard playing catch with my buddies. Life long Cardinal fan.

But these Rays are winning me over. In fact, I have moved my Cardinal hats to the top hooks and am wearing my TB Rays hats much more often. Really cool to see them winning these 1 and 2 run games. They finally have a good starting rotation and something they have never had............a bullpen. Kazmir didn't look so hot last night but the bats made up for it.

    GO RAYS!!!!!!!!!! :D
Should we ever have the opportunity to ride together you will understand my avatar.

Where do I start... It's like breeding. It's like good looks and smarts. It's like Secretariat. It's like the Holy Ghost, either you get it or you don't. The Red Sox is a category apart. It's like Saint Peter sitting to the right of the guy with the long white beard. No one else will ever take Saint Peter's place. It's like Red Square. No team will ever come close to the Red Sox. There are baseball teams, football teams, basketball teams, cricket teams, jacks teams, stick-in-the-mud teams, sex teams, and then there is the RED SOX. It's pretty simple, really.

The season is not close to being over.

From a member of the Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics nation.

Dropped the Bruins after they let Bobby Orr go to another team.

Just wait until this series is over. 4 games right. Could mean double digits behind!

Maybe Hanky can throw another fit and fire somebody!

    Go Sox!:adore:

We just passed the midpoint of the season. The term scientists use is regression to the mean.

    Be prepared Devil Rays.

    17 now.

Plus 3 Superbowls and a couple of World Series.

Yes, there was a Patriots loss to the Giants in the Super Bowl, and the Revs are becoming the Buffalo Bills of MLS but it's still a pretty special time to be a sports fan in Boston.

Now if the d+!n Bruins would just figure it out.

And isn't this all why we love sports? Passion, excitement, and good trash talking.

To be honest, I am an Indians fan. I have a really good friend in Boston, and one in New York (yankee fan) October is usually pretty fun. How creative we can get.

Yes I know 17 and all the other stuff. YUCK :thefinger:

yes the Red Sox came back to beat the Indians.:thefinger:

Can I talk smack about the Houston Dynamos? our MLS team?

    I love sports!!

    Default what about the Yanks?

I think the Sox have a long way to go before they become as historically significant as the Yankees.
